ASTRID Children's Cardigan PDF Knitting Pattern.
The cardigan is worked from the top down, back and forth in one piece. At the underarm, the body and sleeves are divided, with the sleeves placed on scrap yarn. The body is then completed back and forth. Sleeves are then completed in the round.
All Fairisle sections are charted separately.
There are 2 options for Chart D – a flower or snowflake.
If the body is worked in stocking stitch, the cardigan has a looser fit. If the body is worked in the diamond pattern, it has a closer, more structured fit.
