ULLA Adult Fairisle Sweater PDF Knitting Pattern. A cosy, tradtional rollneck sweater. Completely designed, drafted and test knit by us in Gloucestershire.

 

This sweater is worked in the round in a traditional Nordic top-down, one-piece method. It has a deep ribbed rollneck and cuffs. Fairisle panels are charted.

To fit chest 75-80 (81-88, 89-96, 98-106, 108-116, 118-128) cm

 

YARN:

Aran Yarn: 50g balls (70 metres a ball) e.g., Drops Alaska (N.B. Alaska is known to be a slightly thicker Aran weight yarn, with shorter metreage than other 50g balls).

Colours are listed in the order as used in the red version of the sweater.

Colour A (Main colour): 11 (11, 12, 13, 13, 14)

Col B (Mustard used in photo): 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2)

Col C (Off white): 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1)

Col D (Olive green): 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3)

Col E (Wheat): 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5)

Col F (Dark olive): 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1)

 

NEEDLES:

Circular needles 4.5mm & 5mm (plus DPNs for sleeves if not using magic loop).

 

OTHER SUPPLIES:

Stitch markers
