SYLVIE Ballet Wrap Cardigan PDF Knitting Pattern. A simple and traditional seamless ballet wrap cardigan.
Created in one piece, with the body worked from the bottom up, and the sleeves worked in the round, and joined at the armholes. The body and sleeves are then worked all together. The trims are created by working a grafted i-cord, and the tie holes made by working a vertical buttonhole.
Completely designed, drafted and test knit by us in Gloucestershire, UK.
This cardigan is designed to be a traditional ballet style, fitting and tying at the high waist. If you are making this cardigan for casual wear, we recommend sizing up. If making for dancewear, be sure to measure your child for the best fit.

DIFFICULTY:
Intermediate difficulty - you will be working a grafted i-cord for the front trims, and a vertical buttonhole for the tie opening.
SIZES:
3-6 months (6-12 months, 1-2yrs, 2-4yrs, 4-6yrs, 6-8yrs)
YARN:
DK Yarn: 50g x 2 (3, 3, 4, 5, 5) balls e.g., Drops Merino Extra Fine (105m per ball)
NEEDLES:
4.00mm plus 3.5mm for rib. Circular needles recommended for body, DPNs for sleeves.
