YARN:

Aran weight yarn - The skirt shown has been worked in Drops Alaska 50g balls, with the snowflakes worked inside solid hexagons of one colour, with stripes of each colour as edging. If worked in the same way, quantities needed are as follows:

Off white x 3

Dark red x 3

Red x 2

Light green x 2

Dark green x 2

Gold x 2

Oatmeal x 1

If you prefer, you can work the hexagons with the white snowflake, and then striped rounds – in this way you can use scraps and oddments of whichever colours you choose.

 

Instructions are written, with the snowflake hexagons also charted, with UK English terminology.
