Medium to Heavy Weight wovens, such as; Lawn, Broadcloth, Linen, and some Cotton types Quilting Cottons, Twill, Denim.
 
Lightweight fabrics may be used but may affect the structured flare of the garment. Use a lightweight fabric for a softer look.
 
For stripes, directional prints and pattern matching you will require extra fabric.
