This pattern creates a classic suspender skirt, with a shaped yoke. It is designed to be fairly formal fitting around the waist, with a wide flared skirt with lots of volume. Perfect for dressing up with blouses or shirts and comfortable for playing in every day.

Medium to Heavy Weight wovens, such as; Lawn, Broadcloth, Linen, and some Cotton types Quilting Cottons, Twill, Denim.
Lightweight fabrics may be used but may affect the structured flare of the garment. Use a lightweight fabric for a softer look.
For stripes, directional prints and pattern matching you will require extra fabric.
